There are many reasons why you should stay at Mad Cat Backpackers ... Let me tell you why...

We are right next door to Perth's central train station, so as far as getting here... its dead easy. Also, For a small fee there is an express shuttle from the Airport and we are only seconds from the Greyhound Bus Terminal. Here at Mad Cat Backpackers, we never sleep... meaning that you can check-in anytime of the day... or night for that matter! Another thing that we include if you decide to stay, is completely free secure parking at the back of the building.

Breakfast is provided including tea and coffee, rice is also available for free and once a week the Mad Cat even throws a free pizza or sausage sizzle / BBQ including vegitarian patties. We offer free passes and drinks vouchers to some of the Northbridge clubs which are all within easy walking distance of the hostel.

We have vending machines, laundry, internet access and tour booking service. The hostel is also equipped with a number of pinball machines and  arcade games, including a brand new air hockey table.

The Bedrooms:

The Mad Cat Backpackers has double, twin and shared rooms. We have different sizes of dorm rooms, some with balconies. We provide free pillows and sheets ensuring that you will get a good night's sleep. We honour all current valid competitors cards (eg. VIP, YHA, etc)

Dorm beds start from $15 with doubles/twins from $60 (this is seasonal and weekly discounts can be given, so please check with us for exact prices).

The Lounge:

Couches line this huge room so that you can sit back and relax. Or why not watch tv or a video. Better still checkout what's on Foxtel satellite tv, play one of our many games or just quietly read a book from our book swapping library.
